Does window tint really reduce energy bills at home?
Yes — significantly. In Arizona's climate, windows are responsible for a large portion of your home's heat gain. Window film blocks solar heat before it enters, reducing the load on your AC and cutting cooling costs. Many homeowners see a noticeable difference on their first summer utility bill.
Will residential tint make my home dark or look different from the outside?
Most likely, yes — and that's actually a sign the film is working well. High-performance residential films are typically reflective, giving windows a mirror-like appearance from the outside during daylight hours. This is completely normal and expected. From inside, your view stays clear, but the room will be noticeably darker depending on the shade you choose. We always show you samples and walk through options before starting — no surprises. If you're in an HOA, check with them before booking. Some HOAs have restrictions on reflective window film.
What types of commercial properties do you tint?
We tint offices, retail storefronts, restaurants, warehouses, medical offices, and more. If it has windows, we can tint it. We'll assess your building and recommend the right film for your goals — energy savings, privacy, glare reduction, or all three.
How long does residential or commercial tinting take?
It depends on the number of windows and the size of the building. A typical home can be done in a half-day to a full day. Commercial projects are quoted individually — we'll give you a timeline when we assess your space.
Is window tinting legal in Arizona?
For residential and commercial use, there are no restrictions — you can tint as dark as you want. For automotive, Arizona requires 33% VLT on front side windows; rear windows can be any shade. We'll walk you through Arizona's tint laws — VLT requirements, what's legal for front windows versus rear glass, and what to consider for your situation. Ultimately, customers are responsible for knowing and complying with their local tint regulations.
Do you come to my home or business?
We serve Mesa and all of the Phoenix Valley. For automotive installs, bring your vehicle to our Mesa location. For residential and commercial, we assess and install on-site at your property.
Do you tint Teslas and luxury vehicles?
Yes. We regularly tint Tesla Model 3, Model Y, Model X, Bentleys, Porsches, and more. Tesla's large glass roofs especially benefit from premium ceramic film.
